About Us
We are an outpatient facility providing mental health services via school-based settings and in our clinic in Nashville, Arkansas.
Cornerstone provides services to children, adolescents, adults, senior citizens, and families who are seriously mentally ill, or seriously emotionally disturbed.
We serve the Juvenile Justice population and school-based sites. We treat each client as an individual and approach his/her symptoms/problems from a medical, psychiatric, social, cultural, educational, vocational and behavioral viewpoint.
Cornerstone Counseling Clinic, Inc. understands the needs of our community. We are in a diverse area with communication barriers. We have adopted policies to provide services to clients who may not speak English. We contract with translators and have created forms in Spanish. We have also adopted cultural diversity training in our Orientation to promote understanding of culture. It is vital for Cornerstone Counseling Clinic, Inc. to meet the needs of our community by staffing and supervising our staff and clinicians on culture and diversity.

To reduce the stigma in seeking treatment for mental health by focusing on the needs of all age groups, strengthening the awareness of the mental health needs in our community while providing a voice to the silent.

Bryan and Kayla Chesshir set out to find a diverse group of mental health professionals to serve the people of Southwest Arkansas. The staff at Cornerstone has a vast array of training and knowledge that they use to individualize the treatment of every client.
Cornerstone is more than just a behavioral health organization. At Cornerstone, our staff is like a family. Our goal is to welcome our clients into the Cornerstone family with empathy and kindness so that they may work towards achieving their behavioral health goals.
